- You know what a greaser is white trash with long hair
- You know what a soc is white trash with mustangs and madras shirts
- After he said that the socs came at them. Some of the guys were drowning Ponyboy in the fountain and some were beating Johnny up. Johnny saw that Ponyboy was about to die if they did that anymore. Johnny remembered his switchblade and stabbed Bob which killed him.
- The socs and the greasers had a rumble.
- Ponyboy and Johnny ended up going to Dally and asking for help. He sent them to a broken down church in Windrixville. After a few days there they went out with Dally when he came to visit and saw the church on fire and kids screaming from inside. They both ran in to save the kids.
- Johnny had been struck by a burning piece of timber and was now in the hospital. When Johnny and Pony were in the room alone Johnny told him that he will not be able to walk again. He also said that it was worth it to save those kids.
- Listen, I don't mind dying now.It's worth it.It's worth saving their kids.
- Dally had robbed a bank because of his anger for Johnny being dead. The cops were called on him so he called the gang so that they can come hide him. The gang and Dally ran to the same spot where they would meet each other. The police came and he shot Dally. Now Dally is dead.
- Pony I won't be able to walk again
- Johnny dies by the time that they come back from the rumble but before he died he says something to Ponyboy.
- Stay gold Ponyboy stay gold.
- Johnny we won the rumble. I'm so proud of you.
