- In the office.....
- Oh. Ugh! She's Muslim? Why is our company hiring such people? Haven't they heard of 9/11 and Hamas? For all I know, her father and brother have probably planned to bomb this place! Also, why is she wearing that on her head? These people always want to project their "culture" everywhere.
- Asma faces being stereotyped at her workplace
- Maybe I'm not afraid of her. But I certainly doubt whether she knows what she's doing here. This job is very challenging for white men like me who excel in almost everything. She will probably be crying to HR about how "difficult" it is by the end of this month. Ha!

- Near the elevator later that day.....
- A few days later she faces prejudice from co-workers due to her evident religious identity, and the well-known stereotype which associates terrorist activities with Muslims.
- OMG! A Muslim! I bet she is dangerous! I better not get in this elevator with her.
- Can you please use the stairs? Some of us don't really feel safe with a person who is covering "God knows what" inside their heads.
- Excuse me? You know what? I'll just get going.
- That was really disrespectful and racist!
- Ha! Everyone hates her!

- In the conference room......
- She is NEVER getting promoted as long as I am the manager of this firm! I know that Karen will end up ruining the projects. But, I am not promoting or hiring another Muslim, no matter how qualified they are! Hmph! I wonder why they are even being allowed into our country!
- Based on both of your performance this month, I am very happy to announce that Karen will be getting promoted to senior partner with a raise of 5%! Good work Karen! We are very happy to have you in the team!
- This is the treatment I get after working a double shift to prove myself despite the growing prejudice and stereotypical attitudes towards me!
- Ha! Even the boss knows that these Muslim women are up to no good! She will probably get married soon and be a slave to her husband like all of them! Ha!
- After 2 months, Asma faces severe discrimination and workplace abuse from colleagues and superiors, despite her consistent efforts to change their attitude towards her.
