- Hello, General! I just wanted to come here to tell you that I was planning on volenteering to become a patriot.
- Town
- It would be amazing to have you apart of something so important like this, thank you!! I do have to ask, do you have any past experience with any type of weapon?
- I have no official training, but I have taught myself! I am actaully best at a shotgun.
- One day I was heading into town to see if anyone had heard any more news about the patriots. I had heard a few days ago that they had just finished a grusome battle with the red coats and were on their way back.
- The Goodbye/Walk
- When I arrived in town I was very happy to see General Horatio Gates. I eventually went up to him and told him that I was wanting to volunteer and become a patriot.
- The Battle
- I will win this for my family.
- General Gates was pleased to have another person added to the group. We continued talking about my skills and my past experiences with weapons. He was very pleased to hear that I am very good when handling a weapon, gun especially.
- The Battle
- It was hard saying goodbye to my family not knowing if I would ever see them again, but I feel good knowing I am fighting for them. So, now here I am walking with all my new friends to the next and biggest battle of the war.
- As I sit here with my fellow patriots all I can think about is how much we have to win this battle. We have to win for our families, friends, and most of all our country. We are nervous as we wait for the signal to tell us to go. All I know is that if I die here tonight, it was worth it. I am here fighting for the people I love.
- Once we saw the signal, it was instant chaos. There were men flying left and right in the air because of explosions. There was screaming, yelling, and dying. Through all of that we were able to pull out a win, and it felt amazing.
