  • $1.25
  • $1
  • This is George The Gorilla. He has decided that he wants to visit the neighboring Island on a vacation.
  • George purchases soda for the first time
  • George arrives on the island. He is quite parched and notices the bat is selling some lemonade. Here he experiences one of the four principles of capitilism - profit. This is earning a gain on a finacial investment. The bat spent 50 cents on each glass of lemonade and sells each glass for $1. This is beneficial because it allows the bat to make money.
  • George gets Lost
  • Get off my property!
  • George is now starting to get hungry. He notices the monkey is selling bananas for $1.25 and the flamingo is selling broccoli for $1. George experiences another principle of capitalism - competition. This is where rival businesses improve products and reduce prices for better personal sales for their business. Even though the flamingos prices are cheaper, George decides that he is gonna purchase from the monkey due to the better product. This is beneficial because it allows better products and cheaper prices to come about.
  • Georges vacation comes to an end
  • On Georges Island soda is prohibited. However, on this island soda is allowed. So he is gonna purchase it from the cat for the first time. George experiences one of the four principles of capitalism here - Freedom of Choice. This is where there is the freedom to make the decisions you want along with the consequences. This is beneficial because it allows businesses to make their own decisions without being controlled.
  • When trying to find his way back to his boat George gets lost. He ends up on the wrong path which leads to the dragons house. The dragon gets upset as George is on his land and not where he is supposed to be. This is an example of one of the four principles of capitalism - private property. This means to own, use, or dispose of things of value. This is beneficial because it allows the dragon to have authority over his land and house.
  • It seems that George's vacation has come to an end. He eventually got on the right path, found his boat, and took off. George is going home with the enjoyment of vacation and knowing the four principles of capitalism.
