- Some critics argue that these criticisms of capitalism paint the working class as helpless victims who don't have the ability to think or act against this system, but I believe this couldn't be further from the truth. First of all, Marx's theories seem to be coming from a place of empathy, rather than judgment, especially because he himself was a part of the working class. Furthermore, he believed that capitalism would fall and be replaced by communism, with the working class being the new ruling class, so, on the contrary, Marx is counting on the working class to resist, either peacefully or not..

- Marx noticed that in history, a pattern arose in which each society had an overlord class that used its control to exploit the labor of a larger working class. However, eventually, there would be an overthrow of the ruling class that would then be replaced with another. Marx believed that the current ruling class would be overthrown by the working class and establish a communist system rather than a capitalist one. The combination of unemployment, lower wadges, and increasing upset due to this system will eventually awaken society to class consciousness that will be the start of this new shift (Dagger et al., 2026).

- With the arising of class consciousness comes Marx's last aspect of his theory, which is the change to Communism. In this revolt, either peaceful or not, the working class would take hold of the means of production as well as institutions such as police, courts, or prisons and rule them with the majority interest. This is to prevent a counter-revolution from capitalists. When that threat disappears, the need for the state would also disappear, leaving a classless communist society. This would entail public ownership of the means of production and distribution of goods and services, which would be distributed by need and ability.
