- Vladek , Mala , and artie are sitting at the kitchen table , after artie decides to go see his father (Vladek) after 2 years .
- The main characters are Vladek , Art, Mala , and the nazis that took the poor jews to the concentration camps .
- Eating at the kitchen table talking and catching up in Mala and Vladek kitchen .
- The problem is Vladek was drafted into the war and he had to kill someone but he did not want to (personally i could not either i could live with myself if i hurt someone ), then vladek did shoot someone (it was kill or be killed ) and then the germans ( nazis ) took Vladek and took him to a concentration camp .
- Nazis was taking the jews to concentration camps , they barley had anything to eat ( they did not feed them that much .
- the rising action is that the nazis soldiers are taking poor jews off the street to take to the concentration camps
- It affects the characters because they have to hind and run away just not to get took to the concentration camps / and not get killed.
- Vladek finds and paper that he finds that would take him to some where better than the concentration camps but to another camos where ds they would have beds and and pillows ( Vladek is an hero and a leader ) .
- Vladek gets on the train and wants to go home , to see his family because has not been to see his family since he got called into war and since the nazis took him to the concentration camps , and he gets on to the train and acts likes a pole ( a pig )
