- Shoulder surfing: their monitor isn't angled towards their office away from the hallway or has a privacy screen on it. this leads to all their personal information being exposed and potentially stolen by any passer by.Dumpster diving:they have vital personal information on a sticky note that they don't need anymore. but they didn't store it away with other information, they threw it away without destroying it, this leaves it open for anyone to take as there own.Phishing: they're putting their personal information into a shady looking website, a website that doesn't look official and requires personal information, perhaps they clicked an email that didn't have a correct link? either way its too risky to enter it before seeing if it is trust worthy.

- If we learn how to best avoid these weaknesses we can ensure the safety of our personal, social, and online lives.To protect against shoulder surfing angle your screen away from any halls towards your space, and if you could, buy a privacy screen.as for phishing, always check your emails and the links you click with caution and carefully, if the link doesn't match what it leads to it's most likely malicious.and finally for dumpster diving, always tore away any and all personal information or destroy it entirely.Do these things every time you can and you'll be set.
