- Kris is a 38 year old woman who is 5'4 and caucasian. Her culture is as a white American following typical traditions or holidays. Kris is from Hammond Indiana but currently live in Chesterton Indiana. She dropped out of high school and currently works at a gas station. My characters role should be as a mother but is currently as an addict with a partner facing gender roles in her relationship. Her story takes place within the last 10 years.
- Kris struggles depression and anxiety due to her harsh experiences growing up. Kris faces many challenges including: providing for her family, maintaining her role in her relationships as a girlfriend and mother, sobriety, keeping a job due to her addiction, and criticism from the community. Kris victimizes herself but also speaks convincingly. It is difficult to not want to help her. She thinks her partner knows how she struggles with keeping up her part in the relationship. Her voice is medium pitched. Kris needs to get sober and do her part in her relationship. She needs to provide for her family. Her family is at stake if she doesn't get better. She will lose her kids and her partner while facing judgement from the community.
