  • Act II: Scene iii
  • Letter to Caesar
  • Act IIl: Scene i
  • What's happening is the soothsayer is warning Caesar to be careful in the upcoming days. Caesar hears this and doesn't believe the soothsayer. This is important because this foreshadows what will happen later on. This also shows that Caesar doesn't care what people say to him.
  • Act IV: Scene iii
  • Why com'st thou?
  • Artemdorus is writing a letter to Caesar. The letter contains who all the conspirators are. This is important because if he gets this letter to Caesar, there is a good chance that Caesar will live. Also, the letter will help Caesar know who his real friends are.
  • Act V
  • What's happing is Caesar is being killed by the conspirators. They Stabbed him so many times that when Brutus stabbed Caesar he stabbed him in the heart. This scene is super important because it's Caesar's death. It's also when Caesar felt betrayed by Brutus. So Caesar die from a broken heart.
  • Theme
  • "I have, when you have heard what I can say; and know it now, the Senate have concluded to give this day a crow to mighty Caesar."
  • "you shall not stir out of your house today."
  • The ghost of Caesar appears to Brutus when trying to sleep. Caesar says to Brutus "To tell thee thou shalt see me at Philippi", but doesn't scare Brutus. This is important because this is foreshadowing that Brutus is going to die in Philippi. This also makes Brutus march there to meet up with Anthony.
  • To tell thee thou shalt see me at Philippi
  • Cassius is looking for ravens, crows, and kites. He is doing this to see if they are going to have good luck or bad luck. This is important because Cassius looking for this and he finds that the gods are being nice to them. This foreshows that something bad might happen.
  • I think the theme of this play is don't always trust the people close to you. I think this because Caesar was killed by people he thought he could trust the most. Caesar should have listed to his wife. Also, he should have read the letter that Artemdorus wrote.
  • "Delay not, Caesar: read it instantly. "
