- Water  is a limited rescource and  we are wasting it 
- Chennai it is one of the  India it is losing water because of 2 reasons rainfall and deplation of underground water resorvoirs
- Chennai is running out of water because people are coming in Chennai  without planning Chennai has also lost one-third of its wetlands
- That is causing schools hotels and other businesses to close down Chennai is not the only Indain city wiith this problem 21 other contries facing this major problem
- Chennai is going to run out of water really soon.People use 4 and a half percent of water
- Only 3 percent salt water is freshwater.2.1 billion people lack clean and fresh drinking water
- water is not distrbuted evenly and were we expect it to be its not there
- water is really valuable even more vauable then oil .
- Our planet is more ocean then then Earth more then half of the worlds population  endures extreme water scarcity
- By  2040 we estimate up to 20 more contries could be experiencing water shortage.
- 9 percent of earths liquid  is saltwater more then 2 percent of earths freshwater  is frozen in icecaps and glaciers
- Only one percent  of the water on  Earth is freshwater.
