- What's wrong son?
- I'm not sure what an endothermic and exothermic reaction is, and I have a chemistry final tomorrow!
- Lets talk about this downstairs, okay?

- Charles is having a tough time telling the difference between an endothermic and exothermic reaction.
- An exothermic reaction gives off energy to its surroundings.
- Think of it like fire. The fire from the stove is giving off energy to heat up our dinner
- Charles tells his dad his issue in hopes that he will help him.
- Wowza!
- For instance a snowman, it melts due to it taking in energy.
- And an endothermic reaction takes in energy
- Charles' dad wants to talk downstairs.
