I'm Luke Gardner I am twelve years old I have two brothers Matthew and Mark and my mom and dad just sold the woods to the government so know I can't go outside.
Chapter 4
today I woke up and I felt good because i'm turning 6 and now I can do everything that Matthew and Mark do but then my mother told me the truth that I'm really 12 and I'm a hidden child and that why I can't go outside or be seen by the government.
Chapter 5
After my mom told me that I'm a hidden child they made me stay in my room the attic but I found a way to see the outside though the vents in my room but that's a secret.
Chapter 6
In the morning I went down stairs for breakfast and my mom made me eat on the stairs because I cant eat in the kitchen because they don't want someone to see me though the window soon the construction worker asked about the house and why the shades were closed.
they were all In the kitchen when Matthew came In he handed dad the mail and when he opened the mail it was a curt order from the government saying that they have to sell the pigs and now mom has to get a job at a factory and she wont be home and stay with me anymore
