  • In the episode, The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street begins on a late summer day in a small town on Maple Street in the U.S. People are dumbfounded from seeing something fall out of the sky and close to their neighborhood. Soon after, everyone loses electricity and all the cars shut down.
  • Climax
  • I fourteen-year-old boy named Tommy starts talking about his theories of what this mysterious thing could be. This stirs up the crowd and everyone starts accussing each other for the power outage. So Pete Van Horn tells eveyrone that he will go to the other neighborhood to see if other people are having the same problems.
  • Falling Action
  • All of a sudden, Les Goodman's car turns on and people start to get suspicious. Goodman is now pressured and people start blaming him for the power outage. That is when Goodman starts to get defensive. This makes everyone suspicious of each other.
  • Resolution
  • Once we turn off their electricity, they wll blame each other.
  • Everyone then sees a mysterious figure walking down the road and that's when Don pulls out a shotgun. Everyone tries to disharm Don. Charlie manages to get a hold of the gun and shoots the figure. They then found out that the mysterious figure was Pete Van Horn.
  • After everyone saw that the mysterious figure was Pete Van Horn, they were in shock, that's when Charlie's lights turned on. Everyone then thought that Charlie was the reason for the strange happenings because he didn't hesitate when he shot. Charlie was the one to blame.
  • Everyone then sees a bright light in the distance so they go and invesitgate. Once they arrive they find a large spacecraft. People then come out of the spacecraft and talk about how they turned off all their radios and electricity so they could see how they reacted.
  • Our experiment proves correct.
