California will be a free state and slave trade will be banned in Washington D.C but not between states.  popular sovereignty will be used to determine if a new state is free or not. And certain government officials can arrest a person if they accused of being a runaway slave.

- This man is taking the crops that were harvested and selling them to a man who will sell the crops and use the cotton to make clothes.

- A slave owner is having a dinner discussion with a fellow plantation owner and is asking one of his house slaves for more gravy in a very mean manner.
- The economy was demanding for a certain crop and they were paying more money for it and a slave owner is telling his slave to hurry up because he wants to make more money.
