- Exposition: Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones is walking home. Little does she know a boy named Roger is following her.
- Should I run while the door is open, or will Mrs. Jones take me to jail, or should I stay and see how this plays out?
- Okay Roger go wash your face in the sink.
- The climax: Mrs. Jones tells Roger to wash his face. Roger has a chance to flee but he doesn't.
- Glide: 5
- Inciting incidence: The boy named Roger try's to steal Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones purse, but it is to heavy and he falls over. While Mrs. Jones is yelling at Roger, people standand watch the the whole scene.
- I wonder what she did?
- There is a lot of stuff that I have done that I wouldn't tell God if he didn't already know.
- Falling action: Mrs. Jones is telling Roger about her past and giving themselves something to eat.

- Rising action: Mrs. Jones is taking Roger to her house.
- I wonder where he is going to go after he gets the shoes?

- Resolution: Mrs. Jones gives Roger that $10 he needed to by blue sewed shoes whichis why he triedto steal Mrs. Jones purse.
