When Saul neared Damascus, light from Heaven surrounded him.
Who are you, Lord?
“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
SAUL, SAUL, WHY DO YOU PERSECUTE ME???
Saul was blinded for three days and did not eat or drink until his group reached Damascus.
In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”“Yes, Lord,” he answered.
The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.
are you sure about this? He commits terrible acts against us.
After this, Saul ate and got baptized.
“Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Saul spent several days with the deciples in Damascus and would preach about jesus at Synagogues. Those who heard him questioned if he was the same man who raised havoc about those who call on his name.
When Saul returned to Jerusalem, he tried to join the deciples nut they were scared of him until Barnabas spoke about how fearlessly he had preached in Damascus. So Saul preached freely in Jerusalem and was eventually sent back to Tarsus.
Guys wait, Saul has changed for the better! He doesn't want to kill us anymore!
