- A woman has been attacked and robbed multiple times in mere days. She wonders why there haven’t been any repercussions for the robber. She seeks the advice of a congressman and he wonders the same thing.
- Isn’t this like, illegal?!
- Sir! Please help me! I’ve been robbed again, it’s the fourth time this week! This is simply outrageous!
- I’m so sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation. Let me see what I can do!

- Mr. Washington, the people are helpless! There are robbers and scandals and we haven’t done anything about it. Why! Should we not save and help our people?
- I HATE the Articles! They’re so stupid.
- Benjamin, we can’t. The state of our government prevents us from being able to enforce laws. We can create laws but we can not enforce them.
- That’s probably the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

- The next day, Benjamin runs into the woman who complained about the robbery. He explains why he cannot do anything about it. Ben explains how the Articles prevent him and others from enforcing the laws.
- Sir! Did you find out a way to stop these criminals from robbing my farm land?
- Ma’am, I’m so sorry to inform you that there is nothing we can do. The current state of our government, The AOC, prevent us from being able to enforce the laws we created. We have no power and even if we did, we can’t keep an army.
- Well! I completely disagree with that! The government is supposed to protect the people, not the criminals. I hate that so much! I think we need a new government.

- Unfortunately, he cannot do anything because of the current state of the government. They hold no power and cannot enforce laws because they don’t have an army to enforce them. Even if they did have an army, America is too broke to pay them. Benjamin doesn’t agree with the Articles of Confederation anymore.
