My Journey-A Horses Journey-
Only the rich could afford us [horses] and were able to keep us in a stable.
Hello My name is Daisy! I am a horse, I am native to Europe. Right now I am in Spain wich is in Southwest Europe.
See! I have traveled for miles and I am still not tired!
We were first used by the Europeans for transportation. This is because we are able to carry heavy loads and travel much farther.
Spanish Conquistadors brought me to America by boat. But they did not only bring me here for transportation and trade, but for war purposes too. This is because it is easy for me to charge and spin during a war.
Bring the horses to the camp site.

The Native Americans loved me dearly, they believed that I should always be protected and they treated be with great respect. In fact, they honored me in many different ways. Whereas the Europeans saw me as something used in battle.

Ever since the Native Americans found out about me and my friends, they would carve the faces of us into sticks and carry them around at ceremonies. They also used me for hunting, traveling and a sign of wealth.
Wow all these people have horses, they must be rich.
Horses are very sacred to us. We need to be careful not to hurt them.
