The next day...The teacher and students will co-create an anchor chart that outlines the learning goals for the unit. It will be a working chart that the class will add to as they progress through the unit. It will clearly define the learning expectations for the students to guide their learning.

What is one thing you found tricky in math today?
Students will be working on various math tasks throughout the unit. At the end of every lesson, the teacher will ask students to write in their math journals, or provide a checklist to reflect on their work. This will promote self-monitoring, reflection, goal setting, and responsibility.

I think I did well. But maybe I could work on practicing other strategies.
