- I was a little girl going through this so I only noticed what disrputed me
- I noticed that small things like how my dad stayed home more days which I thought was fun, but was actually because he lost his job at the factory
- We also had a lot of neighbors move away to find cheaper places to live, which made me sad because that means I lost a lot of friends

- One of the biggest things I noticed was how we ate. Our family had to make food stretch a lot further so we ate a lot more potatoes and stew instead of cereals and roasts!
- It was a really hard time for me and my family, but it was even harder for others around us. I saw a lot of sadness and it took a long time till my life got back to somewhat normal!

- The great depression was a very hard time for many families, but it was an important situation so the United States government learned how to better protect its citizens in the future
- Thank you, Grandma, that was super interesting to hear about. I think I'm gonna do super good on my assignment, also that hot dog was de-lic-ious!
