Prince Siddhartha was born in 563 BCE in a garden. His father was a powerful king. He grew up near the Himalayas Mountains

Prince Siddhartha's father wanted his son to be a great and powerful ruler. The king wanted to protect his son from all the horrors of the world. His father made sure to give him a great life.

After Siddhartha became a father, the king gave him more freedom to travel outside the royal palaces.
On the third trip, the prince saw people walking slowly on the road, This made him frightened of when he was old age and close to death. He met a man that was very calm, he was a ascetic. This made him feel relaxed

The prince's experiences with suffering changed him forever. The prince dealt with the realization of The Four Noble Truths after hard times, so he decided to try and find enlightenment after dealing with his struggles. One night the prince requested to have his driver take him to the forest. When there he removed his clothing and accessories and put on only a robe. He also kept a small bowl for alms. He wandered the forest and tried to find his inner peace.
