The red fox sees a person, the guy offers her some food. She eats all of it. She leaves after he finished giving her food.
Tomiko (the red fox) learns there's a old mother who had a stroke. She  starts to help take care of the woman's house,
I should help out, it must be hard for her
One day a boy walks in when shes doing laundry. Tomiko recognizes the boy as the person who gave her food the other day. He invites her to stay w/ them when he learns she has no where to go.
I'm Manuel. Thank you for helping us.
Manuel starts to question what she does at night, Tomiko asks him to trust her. One day she looks for  her fox skin and cant find it. Tomiko realizes Manuel took it. She tells him to give it back and he refuses.
Why? Or what?
Give me back my fox skin!
Tomiko gets mad at Manuel  and runs away to the desert. There she tries to dig a tunnel to the relocation center where her family is in her human form.
This is hard...
It's hard to dig with these hands.
Tomiko gets tired and heads back to Pueblo. Manuel sees her and runs to hug her. He realizes she was out every night trying to dig a tunnel to the relocation center. Tomiko tells him the story of a fox whose skin was stolen. Manuel offers to help her dig the tunnel.
I'm sorry, tomorrow I'll bring a shovel and help you.
