- Before Poaching happened
- I love my life i am so free and happy i love the place i live no one can hurt me or harm me.
- When Poaching Started to Happen
- Finally found one time to take it down.
- Dead*
- Problem
- This is Timmy the Black Rhino, him and his many sisters and brothers and mother and father are living a great life but they do not know that something horrible is gonna happen.
- problem( no more food)
- A couple years go by and Timmy is dead someone has killed him for his horn and they use it for trade. this is what poaching is and it is killing the Black Rhinos
- Solution
- I can Finally sleep with out a worry of being shot
- Populations of black rhino declined dramatically in the 20th century at the hands of European hunters and settlers. Between 1960 and 1995, black rhino numbers dropped by a sobering 98%, to less than 2,500. and from them getting killed it is polluting the ground and not making it very healthy to the point where grass is not growing anymore
- Solution
- This is Timmy daughter and her calf. The calf is very hungry their is not trees for them to eat leaves or any bushes for them to eat because the soil is not healthy enough for them plants to grow

- I know hunny I'm sorry there is nothing to eat.
- 3 years later it is now (2022) the WWF is taking action in three African Rhino rage countries : Namibia, Kenya, and south Africa. these nations hold about 87% of the Black Rhino population. More Black Rhinos are repopulated and the numbers are going up. There is more and more plants growing now since there is less poaching going on.
- i hope we are safe now i have not seen very many people trying to get me.
- In 1997 an African Rhino Programme has started and we have over 4,000 Black rhinos and we used to have only 2,599 the numbers are still pretty low but it is an increase and hopefully the number continue to grow more and more.
- I am so happy I have my home back and I have lost of food and a safe home.
- I can now sleep without knowing if i will be killed or be harmed.
