- I'm scared to fight in the Vietnam war and run out of food, this will lead to my body becoming weak and I won't be able to fight.
- Don't worry Santa, I've heard there are many lilies that grow in vietnam and you can eat the bulbs of them. This will provide us energy and help us win!
- Photosynthesis is how plants make food using sunlight. Chlorophyll in the chloroplast absorbs light, which splits water into oxygen, protons, and electrons. These help make ATP, which powers the conversion of carbon dioxide into glucose. Oxygen is released, and glucose stores energy for the plant.
- Im confused, how will the bulbs grow and provide us energy?

- Dont worry santa! I will help you understand Cellular Respiration first off, cellular respiration breaks down glucose and oxygen to produce ATP, water, and carbon dioxide. It starts with glycolysis (no oxygen needed), followed by the citric acid cycle, and ends with electron transport in the mitochondria, where most ATP is made. Oxygen helps form water, and carbon dioxide is released.
- Soldier ive been thinking about photosynthesis and im wondering where the carbon dioxide comes from?

- Well first off, This process is called photosynthesis. It's when the plants will absorb the sun using chlorophyll (green pigments).

- The collected light energy will then split up water molecules which release oxygen, protons and electrons. These molecules will synthesize ATP. Then the ATP will join together to other molecules and convert carbon dioxide from the air into carbohydrates such as glucose. you should also remember, this whole process takes place in the chloroplast!
