How is your gas station sold out of regular and diesel?
Russia is our main producer of gas, and with the war going on, gas is a lot more scarce. This is not good for our business and the economy.
Gas prices are ridiculous these days. Because of the decrease in supply of fuel, both the prices and demand of gas have increased significantly. Everyday consumers like me, are demanding gasoline, but must pay these higher prices.
Because the gas business plays a large role in our country being a market economy, there is very little government involvement. This contributes to the country being a monopoly. This means that many places are competing to sell their fuel.
Meanwhile . . .
The poor citizens around the world who will struggle with extremely high gas prices during this war between Russia, and Ukraine.
With prices skyrocketing, this will have a huge effect on many individuals and groups in society. It may decrease the use of motor vehicles requiring gas, or it may increase the amount of money consumers are spending daily.
It will also effect their quality of life as many people may be put out of work, and many people will lose at least one source of income for themselves and their families.
