- Pity for Tragic Hero
- Bless you for it. O children, I weep for you - I cannot see your faces- I weep when I think of the bitterness there will be in your lives. When you'reready for marriage, who'll take the child of such infamy? Such insults you willhear.
- Oedipus starts feeling pity by weeping for his daughters, because he fears that they will be excluded from society and that somebody wouldn't marry them, because they were born to incestuous parents.
