- Starting at the age of 7, Spartan males would line up for war and train at barracks then they would soon later be on the battle field.  Sparta centered itself around war, therefor they trained their young boys to be strong. If they were weak at birth they would be sentences to death.

- Caused by the Athens. the Peloponnesian war started when Athens hogged the money from the Delian League and used it to beautify their city-state. However, Sparta and other city-states disliked their actions and called for war. Athens lost by drowning in the sea when their boats were destroyed.
- Military now is different from the military in Ancient Greece. There is more advanced weapons and military transportation such as  guns. grenades, tanks, planes, trucks and more. Now, the military is more inclusive of women and qualification is needed.
