Although social distancing was required in certain places, people would still gather in large groups. People threw parties and then came out of it surprised that they had gotten the virus.
Months had passed by and then school was starting up again. People were excited, scared, and filled with all sorts of emotions toward school.
Let's hope it's better than last year
Some schools stayed with online learning, some did half and half, and some did in-school learning. My school bounced back and forth depending on the number of cases we got in our school.
After months of masks and social distancing, a vaccine was finally developed. The vaccine was available to the public in January of 2021, and many people were wary of it.

Finally!
Lots of people thought it was not something that should be trusted so easily, but others got the vaccine in a heartbeat.
Since then, more variants of the virus have been discovered and more vaccines have been produced. People became less dependent on masks and social distancing and the world seemed to be recovering from the pandemic slowly but surely. People still believe that the vaccine is unsafe or dangerous though. Even though it was an unusual event, living through a global pandemic is definitely something worth telling to my kids and grandkids when I’m older.
