Are you excited to start your Anthropology class this semester?
I don't know anything about it, but I guess it's just going to be the same as the humanities class I already took
I wouldn't say that is very accurate, but I would say you do have a good place to start.

Anthropology is the study of human beings no matter where or when they are from, it relies on both research and field work. This information can help us better understand and communicate; differences, bias, and how we've changed as a species over time.
Wow, this reading from my class says that Anthropology isn't just one thing either, it can be seen as 4 different disciplines that come together. Cultural, Architectural, Linguistic, and Biological Anthropology are all methods in which we organize the knowledge we've gained about other and our own society.

Luckily this knowledge is also used to improve modern issues like the way people interact with technology being taken into account when it is being designed. Even when being presented with a technological issue, something like a computer is made to take into account how people may react while using it.
