Storyboard Tekst

  • 1. Children should be able to think freely so they can fully develop without society interfering with their own thoughts.
  • 2. But why Jean-Jaques Rousseau? Shouldn't children have some restrictions to their education?
  • *Distance Claping noise*
  • 1. AHHHH, what the?
  • 2. Welcome! I am Jean- Jacques Rousseau. I heard my name called outloud so I decided to clap my hands and bring you two here to see what the fuss is about. Have you have heard of my book called The Social Contract? It is about people living together in agreement. Also how we can live by our own choice.
  • 3. Never mind that, I heard you two talking about my idea of children thinking freely and I will say it is 100% correct. Children should most defiently think freely and have a full education without society putting propsterous limitations.
  • 4. Okay, let's scoot! *Clap Clap*
  • 1. This is so cool! I'm actually talking to the real Jean Jacques Roussea, and he teleported me to a cool old office back in the 1700's!
  • 3. Why I am a man who has many beliefs. I believe that we should support common goods by any means necessary and I also believe in god. I am myself a deist but I have a different approach on deism. Now you may have heard of him, his name is Volatire. He came up with the idea of God being based rationally without religous authority, which is a bunch of mumbo- jumbo. God created us, we are his imagine and it is all about full humanity. Our humanities and us as one are divine not reasoning. Moving on. *Clap Clap*
  • 2. Don't mind my friend Jack he just really loves history, So Mr. Rousseau, Jack and I are actually making a play about you for our school project. Is it okay if I ask some questions? As in what else do you believe in? Do you believe in God, or in Deism in particular?
  • 1. Jack I'm cold, and we have to get back to school right now! So we can finish our project.
  • Mr. Rousseau talks funny.
  • 4. WHAT?? But its dark out Mr. Rousseau and we have to get back home! Ugh, fine. Mr. Rousseea do you believe in Laissez- faire?
  • 2. I know Alivia, let's get back home.
  • 6. Oh, It is getting quite chilly and dark. *Clap Clap*
  • 5. No I disagree with the Laissez- faire idea. If you knew my political ideas on private property then you'd know I am too much of a realist to believe in that cracked idea. I've tried to make solutions with private property rights, but people say they're too hard to acomplish. I believe that everything needs to balance between the private properties rights so our citizens can be joined as one.
  • 3. I'm sorry kids but I cannot take you guys back until you know enough about me to make your play. Rules are rules.
  • 6. Goodbye Mr. Rousseau and thank you!
  • 3. Lastly, Mr. Rousseau what is Seperation of Powers, and do you believe in it?
  • 2. Okay Mr. Rousseau, please answer one final question for our play and then take us home.
  • We got to finish writing this play.
  • 1. Okay kids, we need to start wrapping this up sadly. My wife Thérèse is probably making tea in the kitchen and she can not know I brought you kids here.
  • 4. That is a splendid question. The Speration of Powers is the act of three branches that seperates the governement. This idea was created by de Montesquieu. Going along with your second question, I do support and believe in the Seperation of Powers. I feel it is neccesary for there to be checks and balances so our governments powers don't corrupt into a madhouse.
  • 5. Now the momment you've been waiting for, farwell kids! *Clap Clap*
  • 2. And no time passed when we left. Ready to make the most awesome play about Jean-Jacques Rousseau?
  • 1. We made it!
  • Such good kids.
  • 3. Let's ace this thing!
