- Alfred Adler played a role in the birth control theory and believed that birth order influences personality. The youngest child typically is the most laid back and is go with the flow, much different that the first born.

- Carl Rogers is a humanist who talks about the self growth conditions. Genuineness is about being honest and direct, even it it may come across as rude. Rogers may feel like I am genuine and blunt.

- Albert Bandura believes that behavior, environment and cognition all effect personality. This relates to "Self Serving Bias" in which people/me credit themselves for success and blame others for failure.
- Sigmund Freud has many theories and ideas, one being defense mechanisms to block negative impulses. I always use denial as a way for coping with bad grade by acting like it never happened.
- Sybil Eyeseneck describes two dimensions of personality. Extroverted people, including myself, get their energy from the outside world, such as hanging out with friends. This is the opposite of introverted people.
