- Hi! I'm Heinrich Hertz, a German physicist. I proved the existence of radio waves in the late 1880's. I showed my experiments that these signals possessed all of the properties of electromagnetic waves
- I applied Marwell's theories to the production and reception of radio waves. The unit of frequency of a radio wave-one cycle per second is name the Hertz in my Honor.

- I showed th experiment that an electric current flowing through a wire could move a nearby magnet. The discovery of electromagnetism set the stage for the eventual development of our modern technology-based world.
