- Lastly, Lord Wilmore, Edmund´s second alter ego, assumes when being generous.
- Mercedes, Dante´s fiancée but she ends up marrying another man, but she never stops loving Dante.
- Fernand Mondego, the guy that Mercedes ends up marrying and Dantes first victim.
- Abbé Faria, a Priest that Edmond meets in prison and becomes a father figure to him.
- Gerard de Villefort, the public prosecutor responsible for sentencing Dante to jail.
- Why is Edmond considered a Romantic hero?
- Well, in the next quote you can se why, “Because I'm the man who saved your father’s life one day when he wanted to kill himself just as you want to kill yourself today; I'm the man who sent the purse to your sister and the Pharaoh to your father; because I'm Edmond Dantes, who used to play with you on my knees when you were a child!”- This quote makes Edmond a romantic hero
