- As Prime minister do you know what human rights are?
- why yes i do! human rights are rights given to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status
- that's very good to know sir, but we as citizens feel that the government is trying to imped our rights as citizens in our country!
- oh whatever do you mean?! please elucidate on what you're saying, and inform me on the rights that are being impeded by the government!
- as you know human rights apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe, or how you chose to live your life we should have the right to vote, right to life, the freedom of association ,freedom of expression, and as we are dealing with as an issue now, the freedom of movement.
- oh yes I most certainly know. the freedom of expression is the ability of an individual or group to express their beliefs, thoughts, ideas or emotions about different issues without the government intervening. while the freedom of movement is the human right giving the right to individuals to travel from one place to another within the country
- ohohh.. i think its time to leave this is not gonna end well
- citizens also have responsibilities too! such as, obeying the law (which is why the defendants have been summoned), paying taxes, and serving a jury when summoned
- its about to go down.. the government in Dominica right now is really trying to take the citizens to court for having the walk they normally do every Wednesday
- well mister prime minister, I don't know if you are aware ( you most definitely are) but the government of Dominica is currently breeching the freedom of movement by summoning citizens such as, Mr Linton (leader of the opposition), Daniel lugay and Mr Walsh , (member of the opposition) to court for having a peaceful walk around the streets of Roseau
- well i.. uh.. young lady i have a meeting to attend please stop listening to propganda
