“Poor Ghost, can’t believe this boy keeps getting into trouble!” Ghost’s mom whispers while cleaning the dishes.
Ghost’s mom has trust issues with people. So she is always alert and close to her car to preclude this from happening

“Coach, I hate to break it to you, but LeBron is the champ, not Jordan. Ghost blurts while holding up two fingers wiggling around.
“But Jordan has six.” Coach yells while he held up both his hands.
Ghost and Coach both are deciding who is the best basketball player. They are discordant with each other.

Ghost struggles with fitting in with society due to his appearance compared to others. This makes him sometimes have to wrangle with others who pick on him.
