Why do you insist that capitalism is better than marxism?
I disagree. I think that competition encourages factory owners to exploit the workers and can also cause businesses to fail and increase unemployment.
Well, capitalism allows for private ownership and individualism, and for-profit work. These things encourage competition and innovation, neccessary for a healthy economy.
Actually, I do. The economy should be controlled by the government, which removes the economic inequality created by capitalism and levels the playing field, ensuring no one is ever taken care of less or more than someone else. This eliminates the need for competition, too.
Competition benfits the customer. To be competitive, a business must produce quality, fairly priced products that the people actually want or need. It prevents businesses from creating a monopoly and manipulating them. Do you have a better idea?
Innovation is only needed for a business to be competitive, and can make work boring and repetitive.
And doing the same thing over and over isn't boring and repetitive? Humans have a thing called the invisible hand, which pushes them to satisfy their own wants and needs, and to improve their lives.
But what about innovation?
But how are people supposed to satisfy their needs and wants if they don't have a job or aren't treated fairly?
Capitalism creates too much of an economic inequality for the working class to be able to do as you say.
