Hello there!I'm a farmer who grow different types of crop in my 30 acres of land.What I do is called Commercial Agriculture which mean I produce food for sale either wholesale or distribution in small markets etc. Let me show you the type of crops I produce in my farm and weather conditions they require.
This is a wheat field which is very profitable at the time of harvest if the right favorable weather conditions are met during cultivation. The condition necessary are ; annual rainfall of 500mm-1300mmThe farming operation is fully mechanism and less human labor is used.
This is a potato cultivation field,example of an intensive agriculture. This farming operation fully mechanized which involves heavy machinery use hence require large amount of labor and capital.The conditions necessary for a higher yield during harvesting are;Soil PH of 5.0 to6.5.annual rainfall of 850mm-1200mm.Altitude of 1500m-2800m above sea level.potato farming is highly profitable if the farmer planted during low yield in the market.
This is pappy field of rice farming. Rice farming require the following conditions.Annual rainfall of 800 to 2000mmTemperature of 20 to 36 degree celciussoil PH- range from 4.56 very acidic to 8.5 moderately alkaline.
