- hi im cassidy, im going to tell you the story of how i ended up at husson university!

- it started at graduation, everyone planning their future and talking about college. me though? i was no where near prepared.
- Glide: 3
- you see, i always thought that i was going to be a nurse, i was taking care of everyone my whole life
- Glide: 4
- hey baby what are you going to college for?
- im not to sure i think i want to take a year and think about it grandma.
- ok just make sure you go.

- you see that one year hiatus turned into three very fast. i moved to Arkansas with my now fiancé and shortly after my grandmother died.
- Glide: 6
- i flew home that same week, i was a mess, my grandmother was my best friend so even the though of college was a no go.
- when i got accepted into husson i couldnt believe it at allllll. i thought i was dreaming, it had been something i wanted to do for so long and now i was staring at my future. a million emotions hit me all at once, fear, regret, sadness because my grandma wasnt here to see this.

- well fast forward a year, that year was spent mourning her death, im still not over it but me and jj end up moving to texas to help his grandma
- it was hard at first, i was scared that she was going to try to replace what i lost but that wasnt the case. she is very kind and understanding.

- another year has past and ive mentioned college a couple of times, i just never gave any thought to what i wanted to do
- Glide: 9
- and he would be right, i spent that year helping countless cats and rescuing 3 more dogs, i turned our house into a zoo. i signed up the next day.
- hey i think you would do good going to college for something animal related

- thats amazing!!! see i told you that you could do it, im so proud of you.
- I GOT ACCEPTED!!!

- balancing my personal life with college hasnt been easy, im apart of a non profit tnr group in my small town
- i spend a good part of the day out of the house trying to trap cats to get the fixed and vetted and its been hard but jj has been here to help me when i need it.

- well theres my story, i know it isnt entertaining but its a time where i fell into an obsticle and came out better.
