- We have proof for your eyes the girls are frauds.
- You're the devil's man
- Francis Nurse now interrupts to tell the judge his evidence as well and Danforth quickly shuts him up.
- Your excellency, they are lying!
- Proctor, Giles Corey, Francis Nurse, and Mary Warren all walk into the courtroom. They seek to save their wives and friends. They claim they have proof the girls are lying.
- Danforth asks Mary to show how she faked it. She says she can not. Proctor hands over a paper signed by those living in Salem claiming they know Elizabeth, Martha, and Rebecca. Danforth tells them to arrest all the people that signed it. Parris thinks they are trying to overthrow the court.
- Mary tries to confess and Abigail says she is lying. When Mary tries to say Abigail is lying she begins to start an episode and Mary joins due to fear. The girls are screaming that Proctor is with the devil and trying to kill them.
- Proctor is angry about what the girls just did. He wants to prove he is not with the devil. He then confesses that he had an affair with Abigail. However, Abigail denies it. They bring Elizabeth in and she lies about the affair to protect Proctor.
