Some people think the government, some think multiple gunmen, no one really knows though. When there is no certain answer, people generate whatever answer they want or think is the best answer
Some facts of this conspiracy theory are that there were multiple gunmen, and the different gunmen hit different targets such as JFK and Governor Connally, as well as someone else who killed Officer Tibbett. Another fact is that the Soviet Union possibly had their hands in the mix in killing Kennedy because they did not like him because of his handling of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Three logical fallacies and cognitive biases in this conspiracy theory are the burden of proof, belief bias, and authority bias.The burden of proof is shown in this conspiracy theory because some of the people who are making these claims are somewhat making things that cannot be proved intentionally, so you can't 100% prove that it's false.Belief bias is shown in this conspiracy theory because once some people pick what they believe, then they completely throw out any other evidence and only base what they think on their own beliefs.Authority bias is shown in this conspiracy theory when prominent figures such as RFK Jr., JFK's nephew, tell the countries that he is a prominent believer in this theory.
