  • are you ready to go pay for our train tickets?
  • why do we have to pay for our tickets?

  • we have to pay for our tickets so that the driver can make a profit.
  • ohhh, I know what a profit is. A profit is when the driver makes money because his ticket sales cover the cost of his gas and he is making money.
  • why did we get on this train that other one looks better.
  • freedom of choice
  • well we have the freedom of choice so we could have got on the other train but this one went to the stop we needed
  • george and his grandson want to go ride a train around new york since they are visiting
  • compitition
  • hmm where should we eat?
  • george and his grandson talk about profit as they wait in line to buy their tickets. profit means an economic gain more then the amount spent.
  • private property
  • look there is a sign on the door that says that i need to have shoes on to enter. What is that about, grandpa?
  • well that is because it is there private property and they can control their there buisness.
  • freedom of choice is the abillity to choose between two or more options. george and his grandson talked about freedom of choice all the way to there stop.
  • the end
  • thank you for spending they day with me grandpa i had a great time
  • well thanks for spenfing the day with me kiddo i had a great time also.
  • george told his grandson all about the comptition between the two resturants on the block. Eventualy they decided to go to the small bakery instead of the mexican resturant. compitition is when a buisness trys to get some ones buisness so they do not go to another buisness and so they get their buisness.
  • lets go eat at the bakery. a muffin like the one on that sign sounds really nice right now. Plus there building looks way nicer and has way better advertisment
  • sice someone privatly owns this property space they can make the rules on weather someone has to have shoes on to enter or a shirt to enter. george explained this to his grandson and eventualy they went inside to eat. private property is when a person owns something vs. it being owned by the government.
  • The two talked about there day together and everything that they both learned.
