- Fromouter space, yet! Sally, you better get that boy of yours up to bed. He's beenreading too many comic books or seeing too many movies or something.
- Tommy, come over here and stop that kind of talk.
- Now isn't that the craziest thing you ever heard?
- Im telling you the truth, I swear!! In the book I read, it was aliens that didn't want us to leave. And so they scared the people to stay because they kept messing with them. And, and they sent four people; two parents, and two children,
- Conflict
- my car wont start...
- What???
- Why did Steve's car just turn on by itself??????
- What is going on????
- Why did his lights go out??
- The people on quiet Maple Street come outside to see what is going one. They hear a screeching sound coming from the sky. This is so weird to them because it is out of the blue to see something of this sort in there small town.
- Climax
- I didn't mean too! I thought he was a monster or something. I was trying to protect you!!!
- Tommy tells the neighborhood how whoever was in the thing that came over, doesn't want the people to leave. He continues on saying that it was a UFO and how the aliens were a family of four; two adult parents, and two children. The towns people explode saying that Tommy should not be speaking like that and needs to go to sleep.
- Falling Action
- Everything stops working, people get paranoid of what could be causing these issues in there small town. Everyone begins pointing fingers at one another; finding the smallest quirk of a person to make them out to be the bad one or the weird one. Everyone then begins to choose one person and attack them for just the smallest strange thing about them.
- Resolution
- Get it? Just stop a few of their machines and radios and telephones and lawn mowers...throw them into darkness for a few hours and then you just sit back and watch the pattern.?
- That's it???
- Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn thinking that he is a monster, not knowing it was a fellow neighbor. The group of people erupt at Charlie scolding him for his actions. Charlie attempts to prove his innocence by saying everyone is scared and he was trying to protect everyone.
- You Killed him Charlie! You Killed Pete Van Horn!!!
- Everyone in the town is turning on one another due to the paranoia that there are monsters, and one of the citizens from their small town is a faker. They all gang up on one person and pin point them for the smallest quirk, and try to take them down.
- YOU DON'T TELL US WHAT TO DO!! YOU ARE MONSTERS!!!!
- Woah, guys. Back up!
- I'll get the hammer, you get the knife?
- The aliens are in there spacecraft and realizing that humans are there own worst enemy. One small thing happens and they become paranoid and turn against one another. If you change one small thing, and put them in a uncomfortable situation, they freak out.
- Yep! Then we sit back and watch!
