- Hi! My name is Riya and I will be telling you about five different types of computer hardwares and what they do!
- There is also two types of computer hardware, simple and complex.
- This is a monitor. A monitor is used to display videos or images as it is directly connected to the CPU. CRT and LCD are the different types of monitors.
- Over here we have the keyboard! A keyboard is used to give input text or some other commands to the computer.
- This takes the input to the user and processes their commands.
- Next up is the CPU. The CPU stands for the central processing unit and is the main part of a computer system that interprets and executes commands.
- Almost everything inside of a computer is connected to the CPU. Fun fact: The CPU is also called the brain of the computer.
- Now, lets to the RAM which stands for Random Access Memory. This is used to store and process information.
- The goal of the RAM is for data to be easily stored.
- After the computer processes it, it then begins to print and transfer the information onto a piece of paper. I hope you enjoyed!
- Lastly is the Printer! A printer is a type of computer hardware that is used to print something that was seen on a computer.
