HI my name is Gaetano Alberto Lombardo aka Guy Lombardo
I was born in London Ontario Canada 1902 by musically inclinded parents from an italian decent
I am a very famous musician in the canada and united states of the 1920s  and I even formed the band called the Royal Canadians with my brothers
I would often practice together with my brothers in our house or the back of our fathers tailor shop and because i was the eldest i would be helping them alot of the time
Because my parents were musically inclinded I started practicing the violin at a young age

This was our first public preformance at a church lawn party in London Ontario 1914. We were still in grammar school when we preformed.
I was remembered for almost half a century for my New Year’s Eve radio and television broadcasts which became an American tradition.
I was even able to sell over 250 million records of my music worldwide

We were the first canadian have a #1 single on Billboards top 100
WOW!
Not only was a known for my famous song "Auld Lang Syne", but I am also a speedboat enthusiast and i even got won the gold cup in 1949
And that is why I have three stars in the hollywood walk of fame and am an imporat part of Canadian history
Durring the 1930s durring the great deppression and when my music was becoming more popular
I played alot of jazz together with my band and was the one that influenced the evolution of jazz music in Canada
