- The flappers are young women who rebelled against traditional ways of thinking and acting. These young women cut their hair short, wore short dresses and smoked cigarettes.
- Many women decide to be a flappers because it symbolized a new sense of freedom. Women wanted to experience the same freedom as men.
- Women in 2022 have no limits to their jobs. They can be a police officer, work on cars and do any other masculine jobs. With that being said many still work as secretaries and sale clerks.
