Louis XVI was the last bourbon king of france. Marie Antoinette was married to Louis XVI when she was just 15 years old. Maximilien Robespierre encouraged the execution. Napoleon Bonaparte was a military leader and emperor who conquered much of Europe. Louis was executed because he was convicted of conspiracy with foreign powers and sentenced to death. Marie Antoinette was executed because she was convicted of treason. Maximilien Robespierre was executed because of the excesses of the "Region of Terror" and acting in a dictatorial way. Napoleon was killed by stomach cancer.
