- The Sahara Desert is located in Northern Africa and is known as the worlds hottest desert. Considering its harsh weather it has the lowest population density on Earth with only 1 person per square mile. People in the Sahara can not use cars so instead they ride camels for trade and transportation.
- The Congo Rainforest Is located south of the equator and along the coast of Africa. It is very important to the economy because it is a very large source of wood and has a very low population because it is a jungle. The Congo receives between 63-78 inches of rain per year.
- The Savanna is located near the equator and has a humid environment with scattered trees and shrubs. People live in huts and many communities are traditional. Cities are growing very fast because of jobs available because of trade.
