As we studied yesterday, most of the soldiers had no professional training. There were farmers, shearers, city-dwellers. And before the war started, they had no intention whatsoever to actually become soldiers...
Hello soldiers! I am your captain. First, we are going to Egypt to train and then, afterwards, we will go to Gallipoli for the real fight.
I am so proud to defend my country!
