Battle of the Cowshed

- I was turned out of my property by a pack of good-for-nothing animals.
- 1.) Snowball and Napoleon send out pigeons to other farms to spread news of the rebellion and to teach other animals the song "Beast of England."
- 2.) Mr. Jones is explaining how he was kicked off his farm by his animals. Other farmers like Mr. Pilkington and Mr. Frederick listen and at first think that he is crazy, but then become worried about what their animals will do. They start spreading rumors that the animals are fighting amongst themselves and are starving to death. This action leads to the farmers trying to take back the farm.

- 3.) A mob of farmers are marching their way over to attack Animal Farm. Snowball had been preparing for this moment and gave war tactics. A battle is fought, a sheep dies, snowball is hurt, and soon the humans lose. They run away and the animals cheer their victory. This battle was called the Battle of the Cowshed.

- 4.) Snowball is portrayed as a strategic leader during the battle, showing his intelligence and ability to rally the other animals. Mollie is also said to have gone missing during the battle.
- 5.) After they win the battle, they give medals to Boxer and snowball for their bravery and give a medal to the dead sheep which they buried under a bush. They took Mr. Jones gun and put it by the flag and they will fire it 2 times on the remembered day of the "Battle of the Cowshed." They continue to sing the song Beast of England.
