- It’s late, and the world around me is quiet, except for the hum of the air conditioning and the ticking of a clock. I sit at my worn desk, surrounded by a chaotic mess of books and notes, the smell of coffee lingering in the air. My eyes are heavy, my head aches, but I push on, fueled by a stubborn need to keep going. The to-do list in my mind feels like it’s crushing me, yet there’s a flicker of hope—I know every page I turn brings me closer to my goals. Still, I wonder, is it ever enough?
